India's first alternative investment app, from zero to 100K+ downloads and a white-label SaaS.
Role: Lead Product Designer · 2022–2024 · Designer: Vishwas J Kashyap
Ryzer lets people invest in fractions of real estate and other alternative assets. I joined when the product was just starting and led UX and product design across the investor app, the back office and white-label versions for partners.
Fractional investing was new and felt risky. The interface had to build trust and explain an unfamiliar product before it could ask anyone for money. And the back office had a bigger opportunity in it: a product other companies could license.
Onboarding that explains before it asks for money, clear signs that the platform is safe, easy-to-read text and clear labels on every investment, while meeting compliance rules.
Plot numbers on the booking summary, square feet instead of square yards, payment due dates spelled out after the deposit, and a support section that was easy to reach.
Device testing across 100+ screen sizes with LambdaTest before launch, then Smartlook session recordings after launch to find where real users struggled.
A back office built in parts (assets, fees, orders), plus branding kits and setup flows, so a new brand could be set up instead of rebuilt.
